Rebecca Gaal is a creative strategist and visual storyteller with a background in environmental science, public health, and visual communication. A Fujifilm X Photographer and longtime advocate for the human-wildlife connection, she specializes in building interdisciplinary campaigns that translate complex ideas into compelling narratives, media, and partnerships.


Over the past 15 years, she has supported mission-driven organizations—from nonprofits to research institutions—through campaign design, educational content, fundraising strategy, and digital storytelling. Her work has been featured by National Geographic, the Planetary Health Alliance, Seva Foundation, US Fish and Wildlife, Adobe, Harvard, and others.


Rebecca has been involved with the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network since 2016, serving as a volunteer, board member, and now Director of Partnerships. She also serves as Executive Producer of Wild Rescue, an IMAX film exploring the intersections of wildlife and human worlds.
